In the next installment of the Prairie Wind's series the Author takes a change of direction in Sheri's Shot. It starts out and introduces a free spirit woman who gets up to her neck in trouble in this romantic mystery, "who done it." It's not the type of book I normally read but I trust the author and waited for business to pick up. It did and the story flew by. He's attention to detail and character development is among the best I've read. It has a very strong storyline and cast of characters. I do hope he has more stories involving the characters of this delightful series. Well done and enjoy.

I have never read a book that's evoked such a range of emotion within me like this book in particular. I wanted to reach into the pages of this work and rip the very essence from several characters. The author was very successful in reaching that deeply into this reviewer's emotions and I applaud his work. I even went and read the ending of the story halfway through the book. I had to read the ending before going any deeper into the book. Once again this book is better than the one's before, and that's saying something! I salute the writer and editor who worked on this book. It's a job well done. I encourage you to get the book and enjoy!

This story hit so close to home for me that I read the last 10 chapters with tears rolling down my face. What happens to a man when the hits just keep coming in waves? It got so bad in my life that in 2001 just days before 9/11, I walked out of a church and brushed the dirt from my shoes as a witness against them. I have not preached or been back to church since that night. I prayed that night if He needed me then He knew where I was at. I haven't received the Macedonia call since then. I've been where Tuey ends up. how does he react when he comes to that place? You'll never know without reading this book! Great writing, awesome storyline, and an outstanding editing job. Enjoy the journey.

This story had more twist-turns-traps and out-of-bounds than any golf course on the face of this earth. It's a fast paced story that never slows down, as the author pulls us into his world of words. It's artfully put together and a pleasure to read.

The characters are real winners also. Honesty collides with greed and like life, you really hate the bad guys. They are slicker than a greased pig and continue to kick dirt in the face of justice. Who will win this delightful match of courage and wit?

The books is edited well and put together skillfully by those who helped the author finish the book. I hate a book that's sloppily edited and not professionally put together. Great job.

I have never disliked a group of villains more than those in this book. The good guys are taken through the wringer and thrown on the ground by these creeps. The author develops the story's characters fully and you will care about a host of good guys, but will they find justice?

I never give away the ending of a book because it ruins the pleasure of the story. You'll really like the 17th and 18th hole of this book. Enjoy the read folks!"

I had the wonderful experience of living in Ft Worth Texas from 1978-1982. The great thing about Texas is it never leaves you. I love Kentucky with all my heart, but I will always cherish Texas. I still remember the Alamo to this day. The storyline is gripping and the story never gets old.

The author used vivid language that brought the details of that historic struggle to life in the reader's mind. I kept saying in my heart to young Danny and Sam, don't go to San Antonio and the Alamo.

You will enjoy this fast paced historic western book. It will bring tears to your eyes and pride to your heart. It's well written and well worth you time. Enjoy.

The story reminds me of a preacher repeating his points over and over as he moves through the sermon. It was a car stuck in mud in a wet field. I love police stories and romance books, but not this one.

I never connected with the characters so I gave up on it after 7 chapters. It was to slow for me to continue and there's too many good books out there to read!

Well edited and nice cover is the highlight of this book. It's not for me but some of you might enjoy it. Different strokes for different folks, I always say. Enjoy."

What happens when a 17 year-old orphanage runaway meets up with a group of different type of crime fighters? Jesse shows once again that the term family is different today than when I was growing up. It's a fast paced story filled with excitement, danger, and a wonderful ending once again. The characters are well developed and the editing flawless once again. I was never into this book at all. Watching paint dry would be a better use of my time so I tapped out about a quarter the way through it. The author spent so much time on the mundane that I never really got a good idea where the story was going. The characters weren't interesting and lost me after the first page. I guess mysteries set in history just isn't my cup of tea? The editing seemed good but the editor just didn't have much to work with in this book. Hoping for a better read with the next book. The book starts out fast and I got the sense that I was embarking on a 5 star story. It's hard to beat a murder mystery set in Alaska. We have a likable U.S. Marshall and a host of well developed characters. Murder, gold, thievery, and a beautiful woman thrown into the mix. How could such a book tumble from my five star rank?  I didn't like the way the story kept dragging along. To much time was spent chewing on the same facts for my liking. I wasn't thrilled with the ending of the book, but that's just me.

The book was well edited and it eventually got to the end. It was a good read and worth your while to read it. Enjoy.

Boy, this is a tough one to wrap my head around. I wanted to read this book so badly and begged for it. I love mystery books and my dad fought in WWI, in France and in the trenches. I majored in History in college. I knew after two paragraphs that this book and me weren't going to get along. The pace of the book was super slow motion and it never picked up. I must be honest and tell you that I bailed after the halfway point. I did jump back on board for the last chapter and it was dull to me. It was sorta like getting a beautifully cooked New York Strip Steak that makes your mouth water, but it had no flavor. The cook forgot to use salt or any other seasoning on it. I was so disappointed after reading the blurb. The characters were well developed and the editing was fine. The storyline could have been great, but I just couldn't connect with the author's writing style.

I'm a sad man today. Five books and five grand slam home runs. The story line comes off the headlines of today. I must admit at the halfway point in the book, I snuck over to the last chapter to see how the story wrapped up. This fast paced, well-edited book just kept getting more intense, that I had to know before journey's end. I hope that there's more books to come and I tip my hat to the author. I will say that this book is a must read. Enjoy!

The characters were stiff, the pace was very slow, the action scenes took forever, and it took me the full 15 rounds to finish it. This is a wonderful crime drama that leaves you on the edge of your seat. Two beautiful women enter Frank Tower's office and turns his world upside down. The book is fast paced and wonderfully written. It grabs the reader in the first paragraph and carries you throughout the story.

The characters were well developed throughout the story. It was a delightful movie that played in my mind. It was filled with drama and suspense.

There was an obvious miss in the editing and that's why the 9.99 instead of 10. The story was fully developed and filled with danger as the good guys battled the villains in this deadly encounter. I shall not give away the ending, but you'll want to read every word of this book. Enjoy!!!

This is a deliciously fun, sexy romp of a paranormal romance. What's a girl to do when she's got 3 bear shifters who say she's their mate? She leaves town, that's what. And she doesn't come back until her high school reunion. She wasn't planning on running into any of them, but she ends up running into all 3.

This is a wonderfully written paranormal romance of a normal human woman and 3 rugged, strong bear shifters. Yes, it has sex scenes in it, very steamy ones; so if those would bother you, then this isn't the book for you. But they are very well written. In fact, the whole book is very well written.

It has a wonderfully tender, romantic ending that you will absolutely love, love, love! I know I did. I highly recommend this book and this author.
