Review - Maeve (Perfect Match series) by Josie Riviera

Maeve (Perfect Match series) by Josie Riviera

4 stars
⭐⭐⭐⭐

Well, I must say, I really enjoyed this book. It was a very fun read. I particularly liked the support characters in the book, as they were all well done. You expect the main characters to be done well, and they were, but the background characters were too. I found the concierge at the hotel to be particularly memorable.

The only thing was that I was a little disappointed in the ending. I felt it left a story string or two hanging. But otherwise, it was a really good book and a very fun read.

Review of - Kiss Me: An Asian Hero Boxed Set

Kiss Me: An Asian Hero Boxed Set

3 stars
⭐⭐⭐

This is a nice box set, but I think that the multi-cultural aspect overshadows the story for the most part. It's an asian man with a non-asian woman, and most of the women seem to be from Australia.

My favorite story was Kisses and Blossoms, which takes place in the US, and involves a museum curator who has a painting stolen while she's asleep at her desk. The cops suspect her, her employer suspends her - she's not having a good anything. Until the handsome cop can't help but to romance her. Great story, even if the who-done-it was rather obvious.

I really never could get into any of the other stories all that much. It's a nice box set, but not one that really grabbed me all that much.

Review - Blessing by Caroline Clemmons

Blessing (Widows Of Wildcat Ridge Book 2) by Caroline Clemmons

5 stars
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This is a thoroughly delightful tale of a young woman left to fill her father's shoes, from one of my favorite western romance authors. Caroline Clemmons never fails to delight with her books, and this one is no exception.

After an unforeseen accident takes Blessing's father, along with a lot of other men from their small community, she is left to stand on own and fill her father's shoes. No easy task for a woman in that time. But she dons her trusty overalls and boots and gets at it the way her daddy taught her to. Then comes along new hand Thad, and sparks fly for Blessing for the first time. That and trouble comes too.

It's a rousing western romance tale that has all the elements that you want in one. Enjoy. It's a 5 star delight from one of my favorite authors.

Review - The MacBrides: Hannah and Ash by Author J.L. Petersen

The MacBrides: Hannah and Ash by Author J.L. Petersen

A very good book, though I must confess that I liked book 1 best. Don't get me wrong, they are both 5 star reads; but if I were to pick a favorite in this series so far, I would pick book 1 so far. Although I am curious to read Brand's story.

In this book, it's about sister Hannah, an enjoyable read. Like the other book in this series, it's a solid story to enjoy. This involves Hannah of the MacBride family. She comes back from a trip to Paris with a rather unusual 'memento' of her trip.

It's a nice story, fun read.

The author, J.L. Petersen, is an amazing writer, and this is an awesome book. Now I know you're reading that first line and thinking, 'Yeah, sure'. But it's true. I don't just hand out 5 star reviews to everyone. A book has to earn every one of those stars, and this one does.

I loved the story, the characters, the family you're introduced to. It's great. The author has created a family and a place that you'll want to know more about.

The book starts out with RJ's sister Sandy, calling to tell her that she's getting married. To say that RJ is floored by the news is putting it mildly. So she rushes up to the ranch where her sister is working, to check all this out; and she runs smack dab into Logan.

Nope, no more, that's all I'm going to say. And yep, I said ranch, so that means cowboys. You just need to read the book and meet all the MacBride clan. It's an awesome and one that should most definitely be on your to read list.
