About the
book:
Medieval
music, English country dancing, detailed world building, and interactive
content only begin to describe "The Ghosts of the Past," book two of
the Peers of Beinan medieval science fiction series. Three generations after
the "Great Succession Crisis" transformed the life of Princess Anlei,
terrorism plagues Beinan as healing centers across the planet are targeted by
unknown assailants. After Lord Elendir loses both his healer parents to two
separate bombings, the haunted knight begs Crown Prince Kendric for permission
to investigate so can he find peace at last. But finding the answers he needs
will not be easy -- or safe -- in this murder-mystery spanning four
generations. Will Elendir find the truth before everyone he loves dies?

The review:
-1- The
first half of the story is very choppy and jumps in time and places enough to
be confusing about when in time and where on the planet the events are taking
place.
-2- The
last 3rd of the book flows wonderfully, that it was hard to put it down.
-3- This
book is heavy on lust, adultery, rape, and drugs used for enticing sex.
-4- The
editing was really well done only a few wrong words but not as many as in the
first book of the series.
-5- The
ending left one wanting the last book of the series to be out already.
