The review --
This is the first book
that I have read by this author and I’m so glad I did. It’s such a cute little story.
The story is about a
cloud who falls asleep and gets blown away to other parts unknown to him. He
ends up in the desert and is excited to meet new friends. He finds a cactus
family, a snake, and a lady making iced tea. He tries to cover them with his
shade. However, they don’t want anything to do with him. He is blocking their sun.
The lost little cloud
doesn’t understand why they don’t want his shade. He continues floating along
until he finds some people that can appreciate him. He is so excited to find
new friends.
This book was well
written with wonderful pictures. It’s a great book to read to a child. I think
this would be one that they would want to hear over and over
again.
