The review --
This is a book that
sucks you in from the very first page – I loved it! Danae “Dani” Espinoza has
moved to California to start her life over after being raised in a really rough
childhood. Dani is feisty and is carrying around a big secret from her past that
we don’t find out about until the very end of the book. After moving, Dani
meets Ricca a bartender who takes Dani under her wing and gets her a job at the
bar she works at. Little does Dani know, the bar that she’s working in is an MC
bar and in walks Hero, VP of the Heavens Rejects MC. The minute eye contact is
made, the sparks fly and Hero becomes completely obsessed with having Dani.
I really enjoyed that
it’s written in dual POV. That’s my favorite way to read a book because I feel
you get so much more of the story. Hero is a total prick at the beginning of
the book, like I wanted him to get hit by a car… but somehow the author manages
to make us fall in love with him by the end! This book is absolutely
hysterical, I literally had tears in my eyes from laughing so hard. I cannot
wait for book 2!
