The initial feel of
the book is that this is your standard romance novel formula, and it pretty
much is. But as I read it, I was distinctly reminded of the storyline from a
movie called 'Sabrina', made in 1954 and 1995. The storyline is very similar.
In Sabrina, it is the chauffeur's daughter who catches the attention of the
wealthy employer's sons. While in this one, it is the daughter of the gardener
and housekeeper. This is an all right novel, but not a stand out one.
